Dancing with Manta's: by LynneW; This is a bit of a 'girly' story, but it was just how I felt after our dive yesterday at Stradbroke Island. I have been diving since 1981 and instructing since 2000 and have found that I never, ever get bored with the wonderful world under the waves!

Desert Isles of the Coral Sea: by Walter Starck; It was one of those places where the forces which govern life seem to come to a focus of preternatural beauty and intensity. I stood in a small grassy field. It was bounded by a dazzling band of coral sand. Crystalline aquamarine shallows grading into turquoise surrounded the islet. Farther out, a broad shallow reef flat fashioned a skirt of many colors terminating in a hemline of sparkling white breakers. Beyond, an endless sea of indigo blue velvet spread out to the horizon. Life was everywhere.

Spotty: by Scramble; Saltwater dripped down the inside of my mask, forming a comfortable puddle just below my nose. Beyond the puddle, the blue water of the Gneerings disappeared, with the only other activity visible being my buddy's bubbles rising around me. I took a deep, cool breath.
