Diving Raja Ampat - The Resort Experience in Misool: by Tim Hochgrebe; In 2004, a group of Europeans set up a resort in the middle of nowhere about four hours by speedboat from Sorong, West Papua. Batbitem, an island near the Fiabacet-Boo chain in the southeast Misool area of Raja Ampat was to be the new 'Eden'.

The Bends: by Craig; Ask any scuba diver what is the one thing they fear most when diving and they will tell you it is the bends. However, if you get a group of divers together they will no doubt joke that '... we will probably all end up bent sooner or later!'. I myself often joked to friends and family that 'I'll probably just end up bent ...' and like most divers I used to think that it would never happen to me ... but it did. I got bent.

When I learnt - ships were made of wood and men were made of steel: by Ric Mingramm; I was fortunate enough to be paid to gain my PADI qualification through the Royal Australian Navy and was ably instructed by ProDive and Kevin Deakin. Being the macho Navy types ...
