A Mosaic Eel and a Green Moray Eel. Taken at 12m in 'The Aquarium' which is just outside the shallow entrance of the cave and over the ridge. Hard to concentrate on getting the shot as there was 20 odd Grey Nurse Sharks swimming around us along with plenty of fish and a couple of spotted eagle rays. This profile shot of a Glossodoris atromarginata was taken at Bare Island, Sydney, Australia. The location of the nudibranch made it easy to get a front on shot, rather than the usual top down angle. By adjusting the image to be in black and white the detail is brought out in the subject. Shot was taken with a Panasonic Lumix DMC FT1 camera with housing.

Just another day in Byron Bay: by Wandy Hochgrebe; Starting up and running a Divers Retreat here in Byron Bay has been the best decision ever. Introductory Rust Diving on the Wreck of the Malabar: by Simon; Around 7:00am on Thursday, April 2, 1931, a dense fog suddenly rolled into Long Bay, obscuring the northern headland. On the bridge of MV Malabar, en-route from Melbourne to Sydney, Captain George Leslie recognised the danger and ordered 5 degrees rudder to steer the ship seaward to pass further offshore than his original plan of half a mile.

Grey Nurse Shark rescued from fishing gaff in Byron Bay: by Simon; I joined Sue and big Mark (from the Byron Bay Dive Centre) and (to avoid missing anyone) the Seaworld crew, Marine Parks and Fisheries aboard the Seaworld boat this morning for a rescue attempt. My job was videographer for the underwater part of the operation. All of the shark wrangling was done by Seaworld staff.
