Waisalima Beach Resort & Dive Centre

The Great Astrolabe Reef being the fourth largest barrier reef on the planet embraces the southern Kadavu coast and guarantees world class diving, snorkelling or fishing; there is something for for all ocean lovers.

Diving Kadavu with the Waisalima Beach Resort is simple, safe, outstanding and uncrowded and our friendly, knowledgeable and professional PADI staff will make your experience even more enjoyable.

From introductory to PADI Dive Master Certification levels, Waisalima Beach Resort caters to all levels of diver.

Our traditional beachfront bures are strung along a picturesque garden setting and shaded by coconut palms. They are simple yet practical.

Delicious meals are prepared using only the freshest ingredients accompanied with vegetables and tropical fruits, most of which are grown in our very own organic gardens located right behind the grand bure.

International and local dishes provided buffet-style are served three times a day and our accommodation rates are inclusive of meals and boat transfers so you pay only a flat fee.

Vegetarians and special dietary requirements are easily catered to.

Getting Here: Take a short flight either from Nadi or Suva (Nausori Airport) to Vunisea airport on Kadavu where you will be greeted by our boatman. Enjoy seeing the rugged and untouched coastline including palm-filled beaches, wild natural rainforests, volcanic drop offs and sleepy villages.

Alternately a once-weekly ferry departs from Suva’s Naryian Wharf every Tuesday night arriving in Kavala Bay around 1 pm the following day.
