Ryde Underwater Club Inc.

RUC is an independent, non-profit organization that has been operating in the Sydney region for over 25 years. Our members come from all waters of life and varying levels of diving experience from novices to Master Divers & Instructors.

Boat dives in the Sydney region every weekend, except on Weekends away to: Nelson Bay, Jervis Bay, Shellharbour, etc, etc ...

Shore dives at least once a week.

Night dives (shore and/or boat) on regular occassions.

Monthly Social Events. Previous events have included: dinners, movies, putt putt golf, Sega World, airport tours, etc ...

Tried and True Annual Events treasure hunt, Ten Pin Bowling, Nelsonn Bay long weekend.

Club Dives invariably turn into social events with a meal and /or drinks afterwards

Boat Description:

Affectionately known as the RUC Tub, our very own 5.6 metre alloy centre console dive boat, with a 140 HP outboard motor sports all the required Waterways Safety equipment plus extra accessories to ensure premium safe and hassle free diving.

In this article I will introduce you to the next two in hierarchical sequence. Seaslugs are indeed fascinating creatures and are a favorite for many photographers. They do not move about very quickly at all, which is a characteristic that makes them easy subjects to shoot. Often it is not the case of 'the one that got away', but the case of 'Oh no! I have run out of film again!'.
