For the divers who have been to Bicheno (pronounced 'bish-eno'), and have fond memories of some of the older dives (Golden Bommies, The Castle, Bird Rock, Muirs Rock to name just a few) there are many more being discovered by visiting divers on exploratory trips. Have you heard of 'Guinea Pig'? No! It is a towering granite boulder just 1.5 metres below the surface down to 30 metres with swim thru's surrounding the base. The only thing wrong with this dive is you will have to move all the fish away to see the sponges and sea whips in their full splendor.
