Boat Description:

Regarded as one of the best dive boats in NSW Moorish Idol and its skipper Ian Moore are now operating out of Botany Bay Sydney servicing all the top sites in south Sydney from South Head to Port Hacking.

Moorish Idol is fully surveyed for 12 Divers plus 2 crew. At 9m long and 3m wide there is plenty of room and the vessel makes a stable platform once the dive site is reached. Powered by 2 x 225hp 4stroke Yamaha out boards Moorish Idol cuts comfortably through the water.

Ian is an avid diver and SSI Dive Master with loads of experience. He is also a Master Class V skipper. Ian has great attention to detail and has thought of all the small details to make your diving as easy as possible, including a great ladder to make getting out of the water a breeze and a full length rail on the side for you to hold onto while transiting in the water from the stern of the vessel to the descent line.
