This competition is open to amateurs only - people who derive no income from their photography. See the full conditions of entry for more information.

There are two categories:

Novice: those who have been taking underwater photos for one year or less
Open: everybody else

Photographers can enter one category only (each month). Photographers who have been taking underwater photos for one year or less can decide to enter the Open category.

Kakaban, Primordial Sea: by Scuba Diver Australasia; Drawing a deep breath, I dive into a primordial sea. My vision opens to a sea of jellies swimming gracefully in a green aquaria, visibility remaining clear at 5m as long as I am careful not to touch bottom and stir up the silt accumulated over the last 19,000 years.

Night Dive Surprise: by BAT; I am an instructor with an unnamed association, a divemaster with another and an adv/EANx, decompression procedures with another. Who cares? Exactly. Just shingles to hang on the study wall. Looks impressive though. I would like to share a night dive with you.
