SDAA/KBR Shootout 26 Nov–1 Dec 2008

More than US$12,000 worth of prizes up for grabs - dive with the tiny and amazing critters in Lembeh Strait. Learn more about digital underwater photography from amazing judges, including renowned photographers and industry pros.

Location: Lembeh Strait, North Sulawesi, Indonesia

Held in conjunction with Borneo Divers.

The Trip: 5N room/board all-inclusive, three boat dives daily for five days, unlimited shore dives on house reef from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., airport transfers.

The Judges: Mike Veitch, Simon Buxton, William Tan

The Categories: Macro Behaviour, Portfolio, Portrait

The Prizes: Prizes include Canon EOS 450D cameras, dive trips, BCDs, masks, fins, and dive computers from Scubapro Asia Pacific and Tusa Australia, Camaro wetsuits, and Red Army watches.

All participants receive a goodie bag with:

• Shootout T-shirt by Hydro Sapiens (worth US$25)
• Limited edition Scuba Diver AustralAsia leather passport sleeve (worth US$30)
• Passport to Diving the World book (worth US$19)
• Scuba Diver AustralAsia Surface Marker (worth US$50)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• A deposit payment must be made once the quotation is accepted, and before any reservations are initiated.
• The deposit shall be equivalent to 50% of the package total, depending on the Shootout and package chosen. The balance payment is to be made at least 90 days before the departure date.
• For bookings made less than 90 days before the departure date, full payment is required before any reservations are initiated.
• Payments will be fully refunded should the services/hotels required be unavailable and no suitable alternative is found.
• No cancellations will be allowed.
• These general terms and conditions may be superseded by special terms and conditions for specific packages.
• Judges’ decisions in each Shootout’s photo competition are final.
